i bought a microwave and it was damaged. maybe it was a returned item. My contractor was late in remodeling my kitchen and so he didnt opened the box until 17 days after delivery. LG wouldnt replace it because the 15 day return/replacement had passed. what a disappointment I have bought a lot of things from LG. My TVs are LG. My washer/dryer are LG. My refrigerator is LG. I probably wont buy anything from LG anymore.

Purchased this oven about a month ago. At first just used as microwave because I had never used a convection oven. I have since used it for baking different things Blueberry Cream cheese muffins pumpkin bread and chicken breasts. Everything came out perfect.. next I Ill use the Air fry feature. Using this oven helps reduce the heat in my kitchen when cooking.

Have had this microwave for about 3 months now and would have given it 5 stars except for a couple of issues. 1 Wish that the menu printed on the right side of the frame behind the door were in WHITE or some very contrasting color to the black of the box. Very difficult to see read. 2 You cant select the Air Fryer temperature and time. You must select a preprogramed option from installed options. NOT VERY PRACTICAL or CONVENIENT

The Unit Stopped Working in 5 days after purchase

Just bought this and had it installed on August 13th 2024 and it is now August 18th 2024. The unit does not work. The Air Fryer is a joke. It only has about 9 pre sets where you have to air fry specific foods at specific temperatures and times that the unit decides. We attempted to air fry some French Fries and they were barely edible. To make matters worse as of last night the microwave portion of the unit only works sometimes. For example over the last roughly 24 hour period the unit only heated something up 3 times. Most of the time the light just comes on and the timer counts down as it pretends to work but nothing in the unit ever gets hot. So now I just have a VERY EXPENSIVE digital clock over my stove. It is a very expensive unit and should NOT be falling apart less than one week after installation.

Cooks well. Love the sleek look. My only complaint is that if the door is not opened the controls including the light on/switch is not visible therefore nothing can be seen when youre trying to decide what setting to use until the door is actually opened.

Terrible Warranty and Repair

I bought the MHES1738F microwave and the unit failed. The service person came out and claimed the unit had been dropped and was not in warranty. The unit is in perfect condition and was never dropped. I was here when the unit was installed and this never happened. The service person came and took the unit out and inspected it. No damage or evidence of a drop but i find out after I had to follow up that they claim it was dropped. Very dishonest and untrustworthy.

We have the LG Oled TV so we thought we would give this a try after another name brand that we had for 6 years decided not to work anymore. From the first use which was to pop popcorn we knew something was different. It actually pooped every kernel something our other name brand did not do. Since then everything we have either heated up or cooked has come out great. Outstanding design and works great

I have had my microwave for a little over a week now and Im very happy with it so far. I have used it to Air Fry Convection Bake and Microwave and it works very well. The styling is definitely top notch with very nice sleek controls on the outside and all stainless steel on the inside. needs to have a button to turn off the turn table lg says to take the plastic part that makes the turn table go around out when using it for bigger items bad feature also microwave is only 900 watts so it takes longer to microwave items the third thing bad about the microwave is that the air fryer is pre programed so unable to cook anything other than what is programed so i hardly use that feature other than that the convection oven is one of my favorite features hope this review helped someone looking to buy i have had mine for over a year

We havent had any issues with the microwave. I am very pleased with the various reheating options especially the beverage I get a cup of coffee in the afternoon or evening reheat it using the sensor reheat and I get a wonderful cup of coffee that doesnt burn my lips or tongue. I use or the reheat options with great results. The option for popcorn is great it doesnt burn and very few unposed coronals are in the bag. Very pleased and highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks LG

We bought this microwave because of the air fryer. It is partly our fault because we didnt look closely at the air fryer features. The salesman said that we would be able to cook salmon or anything in there. when we got it installed the air fryer has preset fry selections such as: buffalo wings french fries etc. There is no where you can set the temp to what you need and the time. Ive tried to get help with this several times and have gotten no where.

This microwave is cheaply made. The plastic parts started falling and chipping and flake after a couple months. We contact customer service they replaced the plastic piece on the top and the door and after a month the same issue accrued and we contacted customer service again and they replaced them again. The warranty ends soon and well be left to deal with cheaply made microwave. Waiting to see if the Lg liaison would do something to resolve this issue.

Installation and Installer were great. Only Issue: I could not get through by phone attempts to forward to the department were dropped. I ended up going to the store in person in my attempt to swuitch the delivery date from May 13th. On my visit the good news was they had an earlier date in April available. Bad News: This would not have happened had I not personally visited the store. One would think someone my salesman would have alerted me the appliance was restocked earlier than reported. And my delivery date and installation could be earlier. He deserves a demerit for that poor part. BUT I am really pleased with the ultimate outcome

I bought this microwave in 12/22. It has already broken down. They had to come in fix it. The air fryer is useless. It is limited to 1-9 settings and only two 2 servings. It doesnt cook definitely doesnt fry/crispy. I also had to purchase the extended warranty because it has fell within a 3 month period of purchasing the product.

Poor documentation for using Air fry

The only documentation for air fry says option 1 is buffalo wings option 2 is chicken nuggets etc. 1st of all that isnt enough information for wanting to air fry a chicken breast for example because it is not one of the options. I would like to know what it time and temp setting for option 1 option 2 etc. Unfortunately it doesnt allow me to select my own time and temp on air fry mode which is a huge disadvantage. 2nd the time I did air fry using the option for chicken wings they werent close to being done. The design is weird also. There is no rack to utilize all the space in the over for air frying or conventional oven mode - you use a little round rack or pan that only covers about 1/2 the space. Who designed this thing? Didnt anyone test the product with potential users? The whole reason I upgraded my microwave was to get an air fry option. I tried calling customer service and that was useless. 1st I was transferred to another number and he just transferred my back to the original number I called SMH.
